The Laconia Historical and Museum Society will present a talk entitled “Lakeport With Photos Through the Ages” on Monday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. in the Leavitt Park Clubhouse at 334 Elm St.
Co-sponsored by the Lakeport Community Association and the Leavitt Park Association, the program will highlight selected images from the almost 200 photos contained in the yearly calendars published annually by the LCA since 2000, with the exception of 2004 and 2010. Most of these images have not been published elsewhere.
A number of local historians will be on hand to comment on the photos as they are screened.
In view of their involvement in the production of the calendars, as well as their dedication to Lakeport history, the program is dedicated to the memory of Bob and Anita Fortier, Wanda Tibbetts and Armand Bolduc.
